Manufacturers recommend having a split system serviced once a year. A system that isn't serviced works harder, uses more power and wears out sooner — and a blocked or dirty unit is the most common cause of a breakdown on the first hot day.
Each annual service includes:
Your installation is covered by our standard 2 year workmanship warranty. This extends that cover by a further year. The manufacturer's 5 year warranty on the unit itself is unaffected.
Most of the time it is. On some occasions it can differ — if the photos show something we couldn't see in your answers, like a longer pipe run or tricky access. The price shown at the end of the form is a starting price based on what you've told us. One of our technicians reviews your photos and confirms a firm, fixed price by email, usually within a few business hours. If anything changes the price, we tell you before you commit to anything — and you're free to walk away.

A straightforward single split system is usually a half-day job. Longer pipe runs, a dedicated circuit, or removing an old system can push it out to a full day. We'll let you know what to expect when we confirm your price.
Systems 5kW and above need their own dedicated electrical circuit run from the switchboard. The photo lets us check your board has room for it and work out the cabling, so the price we confirm is accurate.
Once you accept your confirmed quote, we take a deposit to secure your installation date, with the balance due on completion. Under the NSW Home Building Act, deposits for residential work are capped at 10% of the contract price, and we never ask for more than that.
Our installation workmanship is covered for 2 years, and the unit itself carries the manufacturer's 5 year warranty. You can extend our installation warranty by a further year when you request your quote.
